Mild penpa annoyance here: using the “candidates” option, and having 1’s and 2’s obscured by the TomTom clues.
In this particular scenario, using the “Sudoku” solving mode might have been good.

I clearly have some things to learn here. I watched your first penpa video; perhaps it’s time I watched some more. 🙂
