• Tom Collyer says:

I’m not sure I like the presentation having the arrows extend beyond the cells involved in the sums, although obviously there is something of a problem when you have two arrows arriving in one cell. My compromise to the problem is to have “half” arrowheads for these arrows…

• drsudoku says:

Since my theme involves people with proton packs shooting straight beams until they are deflected by other such beams, I wanted each to extend cleanly off the grid by one cell as powerful rays would.

It has nothing to do with the potential presentation problem in R1C2 which is the only border blast zone of worry.

• Fred C says:

Minor aside: the form says that “required fields are marked”, but I don’t see any marking to have told me e-mail is required.

• nehsb says:

You could turn this into an arrow sudoku variation; you have a lot of crossing arrows, but the arrows could go either way at the crossing as opposed to being straight…

Not sure if anything can be done with this idea (There should be some sum of different arrows logic that can be done here though.)
