In an Interval Sums Sudoku, the numbers in the first two cells next to an outside clue tell you the range of the cells that add up to the clued sum.

Theme: Home on the Range
Author/Opus: This is the puzzle from clover!, part of the Genuinely Approachable Sudoku (GAS) team.
Rules: Standard Sudoku rules (insert a number from 1 to 9 into each cell so that no number repeats in any row, column, or bold region). Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the numbers from position A to position B (inclusive) in that row or column, where A and B are the first two numbers from the direction of the clue, regardless of which number is larger. For instance, if the rightmost two numbers in row 7 were 5 and 7 (or 7 and 5), then the sum of the numbers in the 5th, 6th, and 7th positions from the right in that row would equal 6, the value of the outside clue.
GAS Time Standards (highlight to view): Two party hats (🎩🥳): 6:30; One party hat (🥳): 12:00. All other solvers earn a 🦕: wide-ranging Willinakaqe.
Thomas Hits the GAS (highlight to view): 1:50, with SudokuPad replay file shared as a download for now (requires loading via settings menu with improvements expected before people should use this regularly).
