Author/Opus: This is the 20th puzzle from “Dr. Sudoku”, our AI-powered puzzle engine pushing the limits of sudoku intelligence.
Rules: Insert a letter from AFKLNTVWY into each cell so that no letter repeats in any row, column, or outlined region. Note that the blue region, the original author’s birthplace, has one cell connected only by a corner to the rest.

I redid this in Penpa because I could not figure out how to input letters into Sudokupad. Puzzled by this, but really enjoyed the solving process
SudokuPad is more challenging at times than we want to set these defaults. We added more instructions to the post; the step is to go to settings and at the top in tools you have to “Enable Letter Tool” and then select it in the numberpad.
In SudokuPad only the letters ABCDEFGHIO are available.
So I assume we must use Penpa.
… but there is no Penpa link
As someone else mentioned, you need to turn on letter mode in SudokuPad and probably use a keyboard. I can solve it from my laptop but the app is not too easy for wordoku puzzles so we have the PDF as always.
