Was able to complete row 9 visually. But when started solving on paper, progression was tough and was able to finish in 19 minutes. A teasing and superb puzzle indeed. Thankyou Kumaresan and Dr.sudoku

  • V. Flyckt says:

Double solutions in the end – managed to place 8’s and 9’s in interchangeable positions in square 1,2,3,6,9

There is only one solution to this puzzle. Can you either share your grid, or compare to the solution in the linked PDF file, to help identify where you have potentially made a digit duplication in a row/column or violated another rule? An 8-9 switch in box 6, for example, would put a 9 in the middle of a thermometer shape and violate the rules of the puzzle, and an 89 swap in box 2 is inconsistent with the digits in box 5/8 so is not possible without other digits being different from the unique solution.

We take a lot of time to test and confirm all of our grids and have never posted a puzzle with multiple solutions here, so want to make sure you figure out how your grid is not fulfilling the rules of the puzzle.
