I think ‘n symmetric clues ‘is too trivial for a theme, given how Pentominous works.
As with some of our low count Fillomino themes (e.g., “24 dice”), having just 8 clues specify an entire Pentominous is interesting. I’ve only seen that a handful of times. 6 symmetric clues may be the limit but I’ve not seen that yet.
