Answer String: For each cell in the marked rows/columns, enter the area of the polyomino it belongs to. Enter just the last digit for any two-digit number. Start with the 8th row, followed by a comma, followed by the 8th column.

I did the same for a few minutes too. It was pretty easy after getting through that hurdle though.

For me this was an almost entirely an intuitive solve with very little logic to it at all…
