Yay! Thermo was half of my wish for the all-sudoku week and this was a good one!
I generally dislike Sudoku of all the puzzle types, yet I have favorited this one (and would do so twice if I could) for having such a novel and beautiful solving path.
For the first time ever after beginning to solve puzzles from this site,I have hit Grandmaster Time. 4:00
This looked like a fairly straightforward sudoku with the four 8 cell thermometers making my solve easier and I wonder why the GM time is as high as that.But this is my fav. of the 3 sudokus so far this week!
Apart from the start, the thermo logic was never needed.
Simply iterating through the removing of candidates was enough.
Easy but nevertheless interesting with a narrow solve path.
