Very nice. Reminds me of some of those Nikoli puzzles where they use 98% of the grid, but somehow can’t fill the last 2 percent in. Those always leaves me with a bit of unsatisfactory feeling.

2:21. Having “Simple Loop” rules meant there were more tools in my belt for this one, so it felt like there was always a place somewhere to make quick progress. Classic Simple Loop staircasing at the end. I feel that’s a term I just invented, but I bet people will know what I mean without further explanation.

Hope to see some of these variations in your upcoming book as well. Will/would make the book seem a bit more exciting compared to things like “The monster book of puzzles” by Nikoli.

    02:28. MS Paint is baaaaad.

Nice one. When I saw a redundant clue in bottom-right, I immediately inspected its top-left counterpart; that’s the thing that made me to realize this is antisymmetric. Neat aesthetic theme, and the path is pretty straightforward which means good enough for Tuesday.
