Erm. Okay. Really tough opening, but fell nicely afterwards, not too smoothly but much less demanding than the opening. I wouldn’t believe that this is Grant’s style if I haven’t seen some of his harder puzzles on this blog. Wonderful puzzle.
I’m curious as to what the intended opening was… what I did was (rot13’d) gur ebj 6 pyhr zrnaf gur fdhner va pbyhza 3 zhfg or rzcgl, from which the rest falls into place.
That was exactly what was intended.

3:39. This went pretty fluently through. It seems like I am quite good at Cross the Streams-Puzzles 😀
