Motris can you list the variants that you have created in sudoku masterpieces..I m keen to buy that book…or should i mail and ask you in pvt abt the variants.
Your last message just mentioned a co-authored sudoku book and I have a few of them, so I couldn’t yet respond. Sudoku Masterpieces has a lot of different geometric puzzle variants and a few straight square grid variants (like Arrow Sudoku) but only 3-4 of each, and a lot of the puzzles are very hard. I would be sure you have solved all of Mutant Sudoku (with Tight Fit, Extra Space, Tile, Surplus, Deficit, Consecutive, Frame, Thermo, Target Sum, and Shape sudoku puzzles) before tackling that one. Mutant Sudoku is also my favorite variations book of the many I’ve written.

Impressive to see how you can minimize the number of clues to only 2 digits and 3 arrows in a symmetric grid !
