This Diagonal Killer Sudoku is a nod to the season 8 premiere of a certain comedy game show that shall remain nameless so as not to draw the ire of network censors.

Theme: Standard and Practical
Author/Opus: This is the 121st puzzle from Philip Newman, part of the Genuinely Approachable Sudoku (GAS) team.
Rules: Standard Sudoku rules (insert a number from 1 to 9 into each cell so that no number repeats in any row, column, or bold region). Numbers cannot repeat on the marked diagonals. Also, the sum of the numbers in each cage must equal the value given in the upper-left corner of that cage. Numbers cannot repeat inside a cage.
GAS Time Standards (highlight to view): Two party hats (🎩🥳): 8:00; One party hat (🥳): 15:00. All other solvers earn a 🦕: Loquacious Lingwulong.
