Theme: Ordered Entropy
Author/Opus: This is the 112nd puzzle from Philip Newman, part of the Genuinely Approachable Sudoku (GAS) team.
Rules: Standard Sudoku rules (insert a number from 1 to 9 into each cell so that no number repeats in any row, column, or bold region). Additionally, each 2×2 set of cells in the grid (including those sets that cross region boundaries) must contain at least one low number {1, 2, 3}, at least one medium number {4, 5, 6}, and at least one high number {7, 8, 9}. (For example, R34C34 could contain 1677 but not 2378 since there is no medium number in 2378.)
GAS Time Standards (highlight to view): Two party hats (🎩🥳): 8:30; One party hat (🥳): 18:00. All other solvers earn a 🦕: Chaotic Cardiodon.
Thomas Hits the GAS (highlight to view): 5:40, with SudokuPad replay file shared as a download for now (requires loading via settings menu with improvements expected before people should use this regularly).
Solution: PDF; solving video with explanation to be added later from GAS team.
