Rules:<\/b> Standard Sudoku<\/a> rules (insert a number from 1 to 9 into each cell so that no number repeats in any row, column, or bold region). Clues outside the grid indicate the exact length of the longest contiguous sequence of strictly increasing numbers in that row or column, starting from the direction of the clue. (For instance, the 5 to the left of row 5 indicates that the longest sequence of increasing numbers starting from the left is exactly 5 cells long like 12579, with no sequence in that row being longer.)<\/p>\n
