Rules:<\/b> Standard Sudoku<\/a> rules (insert a number from 1 to 9 into each cell so that no number repeats in any row, column, or bold region). An outside clue N indicates a special interaction happening with the number in the Nth cell from that direction. The value X inside that Nth cell must indicate the exact distance in cells of the number 1 from the outside clue. (For example, because of the 2 clue at the top of the first column, if R2C1 contains the number 7, then R7C1 (7 cells from the top of the grid) must contain the 1 in that column.)<\/p>\n
