I don’t have a clue where to start. I’m going to need a hint or several… but you won’t/can’t give any until after the Championship, I suspect?

    • Bryce Herdt says:

My first problem was that the map didn’t load in the PDF the first time. This is unlikely to be your problem, but I thought it was worth mentioning just in case.

Anyway, on second viewing, the map was there. So for a hint in that situation, might I suggest (rot13) sbphffvar ba ubj gur juvgr obkrf ner neenatrq. That should tip you off to the structure of the puzzle.

  • Eugene Porter says:

Fascinating puzzle but no idea what to do. A close up view of a map was no help

  • David says:

Brilliant puzzle! I’m putting together a puzzle-hunt for our local area next spring. Can I borrow the structure of this puzzle for our hunt? I’ll create my own US map with different numbers and clues.

  • Jobs says:

I’m in the same situation as David. I’m an engineering student in Brazil and I’ve been wanting to do a Puzzle Hunt event in my university for a long time, as I don’t think there has ever been one around here. This was super fun, so I’d love to do a puzzle with the same structure, but using the Brazilian map and in portuguese. Would that be OK? If so, how should I credit you?

  • Poony says:

I got the 25 letter, What to do next to get the indicated eight letter word? I need help on the last step.

    • Avatar photo drsudoku says:

The twenty-five letters spell out a clue phrase in the given 1 to 25 order. If you have a reasonable clue phrase, you just need to find the answer to it.
